Client searches
The client search is a very important part of the intake workflow, since you should always start by searching when creating a new case – you don’t want to duplicate an existing record!
When searching for a client record you can search by:

All or part of a client’s name

UR number

Telephone number.
| You won’t always have the exact spelling of a person’s name to run a client search. Also, quite a few names have variant spelling, e.g. Katie and Katy. Hence, it’s a good idea to try a couple of searches using variant spelling to make sure that client record exists (or doesn’t). Once you have found the record you can confirm the telephone number and date of birth with the client. |
