Recording activities for client cases
In local services, therapeutic counsellors, financial counsellors, venue support workers and community educators all record activities in Gambler’s Help Connect.
| Telephone counsellors at the Gambler’s Helpline do NOT record activities – their efforts are accounted using different metrics. |
You document the work you have done for your clients and the time it took in activity records. Activities can range from simple to complex and can involve multiple clients or counsellors.
Your activity records form the basis of your clinical or financial counselling notes, while the time you record against activities is aggregated to your agency hours of service reporting.
Learning to quickly and reliably record your activity data is an important element in your mastery of Gambler’s Help Connect.
